There are two situations where Resolve Legal will be the best resource for you. First, if you have significant debt of more than $20,000, and are receiving threatening phone calls from creditors, or are facing garnishment or foreclosure, we'll put significant resources toward countering collection action. Second, we have litigators that can address specific complaints against creditors for any unfair or illegal practices. If we decide Resolve Legal is not right for you, we have considerable contacts and resources that we can refer you to.

• After our initial phone consultation we will set an appointment for you to come in and meet with one of our attorneys.
• Your initial consultation with our experienced practitioners are free and often last an hour. At your first appointment, we will ask you specific questions about your assets and debts, and about your income for the last six months and any unusual circumstances about your financial situation.
• After you sign our Initial Consultation Agreement we will review several forms together and provide a receipt for the disclosures we provide.
• If you want to hire us, we will send you a retainer agreement in the mail. We do not pressure you to sign a contract to pay fees while you are in our office for the first time. We are not your lawyers until you have returned the agreement and paid the retainer.
• We will also send you home with a comprehensive package of worksheets and forms to fill out. In addition, you can download the forms from our site before the meeting, and you can read more about what is required on our website.
• Working together, if we decide a bankruptcy is in your best interest, we will complete the required documents for filing, and you will be on your way to financial freedom.
